My wife and I were frustrated. Very frustrated. We have 4 kids, bills, obligations, student loan debt, car expenses, house expenses, food, clothing - all the trappings that modern life in America throw at you. We were barely making it work. Going to bed each night with our stomachs tied in knots, anxious over whether we can make it, if no surprise expenses were coming our way this week. “Honey, I’m doing bills this week!” - my heart would sink. Needless to say, with a kid in college - and an expensive school at that, plus 3 younger kids who are likely to join that club, the American dream seemed to slip further and further away. We realized we needed to do something. Not a get-rich-quick scheme, but something substantial with a reputable company that offered training, customer support, and no physical inventory. Something we have to work hard at, but something we are proud to work hard at. A venture that invested in us as much as we wanted to invent our time and energy in the business.
After much research - online, of course, we found what we were looking for in our hands - staring us in our faces - online affiliate marketing. I mean, why not? Our kids are home-schooled online. At our primary jobs, we are immersed in our desktop and laptop computers, and our smart phones. Man! If I had a nickel for every day or every hour for that matter, that I have been on my smart phone since the inception of the smart phone! I mean, it is literally the only device that I would turn around and drive an hour back to my home to get it if I forgot it.
